All these thoughts drove me crazy,

I wondered if I should check into a psychiatric home,

I felt everyone labeled me crazy,

Yet I changed my mind because I read stories of a psychiatric home,

I chose to deal with the thoughts that drove me crazy.

There were moments when I felt that there was nothing wrong with crazy,

Then there were times when the label crazy hurt me,

Then I realized that it was up to me to define crazy,

That’s when I learned that I could disagree with what other’s thought of me,

It was up to me to decide if I was truly crazy.

Now I look back and realize that I wasn’t ever crazy,

I realize now that the one’s who labeled me crazy didn’t really know me,

Perhaps they were the ones that were crazy?

After all, only a crazy person will label me without truly knowing me,

Still it’s up to you to decide if you want to be hurt by crazy.
